Gantrail offer all the products required for the installation of crane rails. Besides clips and pad we offer free advice on design and installation. We are then able to supply rail and all other materials as well as a full service to support all stages of the installation process. This can go right through to care and maintenance phases.

Crane rail fixing clips

Gantrail rail fixing clips allow fine adjustment for alignment but are self locking against the force from the crane. They can be fixed by bolting or welding to the structure.

Rails on concrete - Sole plates, holding down bolts and grout

Rails on concrete need to be mounted on steel sole plates. These are fixed with holding down bolts. Cement, epoxy and polyester based grouts are widely used in supporting and fixing crane rails. Gantrail will design the installation and supply material as required.

Rail welding

Crane and railway rails are made from high carbon wear resistant steels. They are difficult to weld and require special techniques such as Thermit and enclosed arc methods. Gantrail use these for customers.

Many design engineers seldom need to detail a crane installation. Gantrail are doing it every day. We offer a service at no charge to our customers. Where design codes specify requirement, these are followed otherwise Gantrail rely on their many years of experience all around the world. Calculations are a normal part of our support for customers. Gantrail have a considerable technical resource and can offer support in the full range of crane/rail/structure matters
